Tri-County Animal Rescue hosted its 11th Annual Peppermint Bark & Brunch on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. The festive event was chaired by Adrien Arpel, Andrea Stark, Diana Retzer, Sher Kasun, Farley Rentschler, and Judy Messing. All proceeds directly supported Tri-County Animal Rescue.

More than 320 guests enjoyed cocktails while browsing unique boutiques and posing for photos with their pups. The celebration continued with a beautiful brunch, complete with a special doggie buffet, along with extensive raffles and live music by Danny Beck. 

The event honored Florida House Representative Meg Weinberger for her commitment to animal advocacy and the rescue’s core mission. Also recognized was Sir Darius Brown, Founder & CEO of Beaux & Paws, known for designing handmade bow ties to help pets find forever homes and recently awarded The Gates Scholarship.

Brown’s mission aligns perfectly with Stark’s passion and how one person can make a huge difference. He has been recognized by President Obama for his efforts as well as received the Gates Scholarship for both academic and philanthropic achievements, with his entire college tuition paid in full. 

Tri-County Animal Rescue has saved the lives of over 90,000 animals, providing shelter, medical assistance and the opportunity to be adopted. The rescue also runs various community programs providing pet food and supplies. It has become one of South Florida’s leading no-kill animal shelters. 

The message is simple, “Adopt, Don’t Shop!”
